During Christmas lockdown, I was asked to work on a videoclip by Italian rapper Gato Tomato. The rapper is anonymous, no face and no way to go out and shoot a videoclip because of the restrictions.
My solution was to design an Instagram AR filter to give him the opportunity to shoot himself at home and use this material as a starting point for my work.
As we played with it we noticed how errors and glitches created really interesting and unexpected organic shapes that breaks down under his movement.
