When Xacus invited me to take part in the project The Art of Becoming and asked me to work on the theme of Italianness, I immediately thought of the family: an extended, non-traditional family, made up of all the people who work in the company and who contribute to the quality of the product by sharing stories, memories and skills. The result is a work called "Radici" which is composed of a 2x2m canvas, a one-minute video and a pattern that was used to create fabrics.
The work was presented for the opening of the flagship store in via Solferino in Milan during the 2022 design week.
